Master Bruce WHITE, the 3-year-old grandson of Professor Jesse
White, former principal of our school was burned to death at the
home in Bloomington Friday. His pajamas caught fire from an
electric toaster. The father, Major John M. White is stationed in
Manila. Prof. Jesse White is a brother of another of our
principals, William White of Alamo. It is a coincidence that the
mother of the child and daughter of Prof. White married a man of
the same family name, White and the same initials as her
grandfather, the late John Marshall White of Alamo. - transcribed by kbz
